Oracle PL/SQL Developer

MY CLIENT A LEADING SOFTWARE HOUSE BASED IN CORK HAS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN ORACLE PL/SQL DEVELOPER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM. THIS IS AN INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH A STRONG POSSIBILITY OF GOING LONG TERM

This will be a technically challenging position, working on a major n-tier enterprise application to a tight deadline. The successful candidate for this role will have a minimum of 4+ years commercial experience in Oracle technologies.
Responsibilities:

- Requirements analysis & Application Design
- Providing accurate estimates and timings to project managers
- Delivery of application developments using standard Oracle development methodologies
- Mentoring other developers within a project team
- Ensuring all QA procedures are satisfied in terms of process and documentation
- Bug Fixing and Enhancement Implementation
- Communication of designs to management and developers

Technical Profile:

- 4+ years commercial development and support experience in Oracle 9i based applications
- Proficient in SQL, PLSQL, stored procedures, UNIX Shell Scripting
- Ability to write performant SQL and PLSQL essential
- Experience of Tools such as SQL*PLUS, TOAD, SQL*LOADER, Redwood Explorer
