WSH is currently recruiting for a Oracle PeopleSoft Implementation Project Manager (Project Manager, Oracle, PeopleSoft, PM).

Salary: Attractive depending upon experience (Minimum 1 year fixed term contract)

Location: Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom.
BaxterStorey and the other 6 associated WSH Group companies have grown significantly over the past 6 years through organic growth, acquisition and contract retention to be a 400 million turnover business. Over 900 locations are operated and over 12,000 staff are employed by these businesses, which are predominantly UK and Southern Ireland based, although the Group have recently branched out into Europe.

We are implementing the Oracle PeopleSoft workforce management system in February 2013.

We appreciate the timescales and are going live with minimum functionality to manage the associated risks, but with a program of further enhancements being released and integrated into our businesses at later dates to ensure maximum adoption and impact.

The size and scale of this project requires an experienced HR/Payroll Transformation Project Manager, preferably with Oracle PeopleSoft experience to provide not just overall management of the project but to creatively influence how we manage our workforce in the years to come.

Key Responsibilities of the Oracle PeopleSoft Project Manager:

Work closely with the business leaders and project team to scope out the exact requirements of our businesses into a business vision for the next 10 years.
To work with Oracle to understand the Fit-gap of these requirements and to create a solution that is both viable on the Oracle system and that meets our 10 year vision.
Overall project responsibility for scoping, design, product quality assurance, implementing and testing.
Full legal compliance and the ability to pay all our staff on time.
To really add value by identifying inefficient processes/controls and working with our businesses to change.
Provide regular feedback to the Executive Steering Committee and our businesses of progress and any issues.
To co-ordinate the project team members (and any other resources required) to achieve objectives.
Introduce appropriate and improved financial controls and MIS.
Be creative and inspire.
Skills and personality required of the Oracle and PeopleSoft Project Manager.

Excellent man manager, proven team player and track record of on-time project delivery.
Able to work with and influence Senior Management
Experience of Oracle PeopleSoft
Self-motivated, creative and driven
Ability to plan ahead, identify weaknesses or blockages and deliver solutions
Excellent communications skills and team-leading skills
Have a good understanding of IT, HR and Payroll requirements.
Foreign language/European experience would be beneficial.
