OUR CENTRAL GOVERNMENT CLIENT REQUIRE AN ORACLE PAYROLL CONSULTANT/SOLUTION ARCHITECT.

THE ROE IS BASED IN CENTRAL LONDON WITH TRAVEL OF UP TO 3 DAYS AT THEIR WALES LOCATION.

THE CONTRACT WILL RUN TO END OF JUNE 2013

THIS IS A FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL ROLE.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Lead the management and development of the solution for all Payroll activities
2) Work closely with other Programme Architects to ensure consistency and collaboration across the program
3) Support the Process Re-engineering team through providing understanding of application capability and "best practice" use of the Payroll applications
4) Assure the flexibility of the solution, both to accommodate changes within the Department and to offer services to other Government Departments
5) Assure the identification of all Payroll transactional reports
6) Working closely with the supplier and the business, lead the detailed business design for Payroll to enable the Payroll shared service solution
7) Ensure that the solution provides consistency from a user perspective in terms of notifications, workflows and approval hierarchies
8) Responsible for the design, build and test of the Configuration, CEMLI build list and CR's
9) Review and assure the documentation for the Configuration, CEMLI's and CR's
10) Support the business in the development of new Payroll change requests and assure the supplier responses..

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1) Will be an expert in Oracle's product capability in particular in the Payroll modules and full life cycle experience.
2) Provide options and recommendations for the most effective, cost efficient solutions to meet the client's business needs
3) Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to which they are assigned
4) Prepare and deliver presentations and papers
5) Understand and use Oracle's AIM Methodology
6) In-depth functional knowledge of Oracle R12 Applications specifically Payroll
7) Candidates must have 5 years Oracle Payroll implementation experience
8) Must have previous consulting experience.
9) Willingness to travel on average 3 days per week
10) Excellent communication skills and the confidence and credibility to drive through systems implementations at a senior level.
11) Ability to work in a team environment
12) Self-motivated, able to plan work effort and manage to the project schedule and priorities
13) Analytical and able to develop solutions based on requirements gathering and options analysis
14) Security clearance required.
15) Strong client facing skills.
