ORACLE ODI/ETL CONSULTANT

NEXT VENTURES ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN ORACLE ODI CONSULTANT.

REQUIREMENTS:

3 years of experience with installing and configuring Oracle Golden Gate or similar tool from other vendor

Experience with publishing from Oracle Golden Gate (or similar) to Kafka topics is a plus

Demonstrates general Oracle expertise (11g or higher)

Datamodelling expertise is a plus

Is comfortable being part of an agile Dev/OPS team

Analytical skills proven through either experience or university degree in science/engineering

Fluent English language skills

is comfortable doing 2nd & 3rd line support

Java development skills are a plus

Experienced in with continuous delivery, especially deployment and test automation

Experience with ETL processes and tools

Experience with database design, modelling and data analysis on large amounts of data

Good knowledge of Oracle Database

Experience with IBM Info Sphere DataStage is nice to have

Experience as developer of multi-tier applications

Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements (eg Security, High Availability)

Experience with pair programming

Understanding of Agile - Scrum methodology is considered a plus
