Oracle Infrastructure Engineer Linux

What will you be doing
While being part of one of the two Scrum teams you are working on solutions for the Oracle Infrastructure environment which is an integral part the Rabobank applications landscape. Products supported within the team include Oracle Enterprise Linux, Oracle VM and Oracle Engineered Systems. You engineer and develop the new builds of the operating system and the virtualization layer. You engineer the solution to be compliant to the regulatory requirements and take care of embedding the solution into the Rabobank Infrastructure.

A large part of the workload will be developing the infrastructure to support our CI/CD pipeline based on products such as Git, Jenkins, Puppet and Ansible and make it available for the developers and the Operational Support teams.

Part of your day-to-day activities range from actual engineering the pipeline and coding automation scripts based on requirements from the Operation Support teams, but also engineering solutions for our global banking organization. Supporting crucial banking applications for both Dutch Retail and Global Wholesale business. You work closely with the Product Owner and the Engineering Manager.

How will you be doing this?
You are an Engineer with Infra automation specialization and will work in one of the SCRUM-teams and are able to coach the team on infra automation best practices. You are responsible for engineering, building, delivery and support the organization in the migration and consolidation from the current more classical Integration solutions to a CI/CD based solution. The end goal is an automated Oracle infrastructure with API's that offer connectivity to all the service provided.

Our stack
We live in a multiplatform environment; mainly Oracle 11.x databases running on Exadata, but also on physical Servers. We are currently engineering Enterprise Manager 13. Our pipeline will be based on your design and on tooling that is already available within the bank such as Git, Puppet, Ansible and Jenkins, however we are open minded about other CI/CD tooling.

Technical Skills:

Must have:
* Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix preferably Oracle Enterprise Linux
* Excellent knowledge of Oracle VM virtualization
* Excellent knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, GiT and Jenkins
* Experience with Scripting and automation
* Good knowledge of Oracle technology stack products
* Good knowledge of networking, load balancers and other infrastructural components
* Knowledge of bash/Perl Shell Scripting

Nice to have:
