Oracle IAM Specialist | 12 Month Contract | Daily Rate Contract

THE CLIENT:

A high profile Federal Government client with over 1800 people nationwide with offices in New South Wales & Victoria. This role sits with the IT Services function of the business and is reporting to the Manager of IT Security.

THE ROLE:

Working as part of the IT Security Team the successful candidate will act as the Technical Lead for the oracle Identity and Access Management support function. In addition to this they will also manage the day-to-day administration & maintenance of the IAM infrastructure.

OTHER KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Monitor the performance, reliability and security of the IAM infrastructure
- Design and integrate the above systems with new applications and infrastructure
- Implement new business requests into IAM infrastructure
- Monitor and keep abreast of industry developments and identifying opportunities for improvement to the IAM strategy
- Develop best practice for future application integration with systems
- Detailed working and practiced knowledge of change, problem and incident management practices, based on the ITIL framework
- Develop standards and procedures to ensure the integrity and security of Oracle IAM infrastructure, including documentation of changes to the environment, producing technical reports and evaluations and providing subject matter expertise and input to technical strategy and design papers.
- Liaise with appropriate IT Service Providers in relation to deployments of applications and integration into the IAM infrastructure

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Our client is seeking a specialist with proven experience in the ability to lead & mentor team members in addition to the ability to support the Oracle Identity Access Management Product Suite.

- Experience with OIM, OAM, OID, OIF
- Experience with Windows 2008 Server and Linux
- Experience with Microsoft IIS and Oracle HTTP Server
- Manage deployment of new software releases
- Configure high availability solutions
- Disaster recovery planning
- Configure diagnostic software
- Oracle IAM formal education (very desirable)
