MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Oracle Hyperion/OBIEE Financial Planning and Reporting Manager required to support the UK IT Director by acting as the conduit for updates and application of Oracle and Hyperion planning and reporting systems ensuring that they are fit for purpose and meet internal customer needs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be responsible for the on-going development and maintenance of Oracle Financial Planning, Budgeting and Reporting systems documentation and procedures.
- Offer improvement recommendations, troubleshooting, implementation, configuration and support to improve operational productivity and key business processes relating to financial planning and reporting
- Build a strong working relationship with Oracle support and development and other 3rd parties in order to provide a consistent operational performance and deliver tangible business benefits
- Implement on-going Oracle system developments/enhancements as required ensuring all changes are correctly tested, signed off and documented.
- Undertake on-going training and coaching of "Super Users" including production and on-going updating of training material using "User Productivity Kit"
- Corporate social responsibility - uphold, safeguard and promote the reputation and values of the organisation throughout all internal and external business relationships and activities.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This role requires:

- Extensive Oracle Financial Planning and Reporting functional skills ideally with 2 years' hands-on experience of using and configuring Oracle OBIEE and Hyperion
- An accountancy background (Ideally part or fully Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or above) coupled with a very high level of commercial awareness
- Although functional knowledge of OBIEE are essential, technical skills less so. I need a reliable team leader who can manage the day to day and deliver the back log of change requests.
- Business acumen with in depth understanding of financial business operation flows
- Experience of team leadership/management
