Oracle Financials Functional Consultant - AP, GL, FA

This organisation are seeking a highly capable Oracle Financials Functional Consultant with a strong knowledge of the AP, GL and FA modules (and ideally EBtax). YOU MUST HAVE A GOOD AWARENESS OR BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE OF SOME BANKING/FINANCIAL SERVICES BUSINESS AREAS WHERE AP/GL/FA MODULES ARE APPLIED TO, AND THE KINDS OF USERS YOU ARE LIKELY TO ENCOUNTER HERE. THEREFORE A BANKING OR FINANCIAL SERVICES BACKGROUND IS IMPERATIVE.

You must have strong experience of the aforementioned modules in a functional/implementations/support capacity ideally gained within a financial services institution (although all backgrounds will be considered if you have the necessary technical and interpersonal skills). A minimum of 5 years' experience in this arena would be ideal.

Overall, the role will involve:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- MAINTAINING, IMPLEMENTING AND ANALYSING THE GL, AP AND FA BASED FINANCIAL SYSTEMS
- ORACLE E-BUSINESS FINANCIAL MODULE(S) IMPLEMENTATION/SUPPORT WITH PRIMARY FOCUS ON GENERAL LEDGER AND FIXED ASSETS (V12)
- hands on design and configuration duties
- Support all Oracle related interfaces
- Provide training to business users

To be considered for this role you will need the following:

- A strong knowledge of the AP, GL and FA modules (plus ideally EBtax) to v12
- A good understanding of SQL
- Some systems implementation experience
- An ability to interact with users at all levels
