ORACLE FINANCIALS BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

LOCATION: Boston, MA
CONTRACT: 6 months +

Seeking an Oracle Financials Analyst to support requirements, testing, implementation, and training for a banking industry client in Boston, Massachusetts. This position will support functional requirements and work closely with Finance and Technology departments for multiple Oracle projects Must be able to work via Matrix organizations to research, analyze, and validate business solutions and ensure the most appropriate and effective solutions are implemented to support the business objectives. This position will serve as a functional expert (SME) for Oracle E-business Suite implementations defining, creating and documenting business requirements. A strong knowledge of technical architecture and ability to work between technical and non-technical teams is a must. Experience with one or more modules of Oracle Applications E-business Suite for both R11 and R12 implementations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

- 7+ years of experience in obtaining, delivering and implementing requirements and functions for:
- Financial background with Hyperion Financial Management tools (HFM, Essbase, and SmartView)
- Oracle Financials including Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules
- Experience with Oracle Internet Expenses (iExpense)
- Experience with 170 Systems including 170 MarkView Document Management and Imaging System
- Work Flow and Approvals Management (AME)
- Must be very strong with Oracle terminology and methodologies
- Requires flexible skills to support Oracle applications and other functional areas
- Experience using Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) tools including Discoverer and reporting modules
- Oracle/PLSQL, SQL*Loader (SQL Loader)
- Experience working with Oracle Tools for Applications Developers (TOAD)
- Working knowledge of Oracle development, documentation and interface processes, security, best practices, workflow, forms, and reports.
- Must have experience in the banking industry
- Experience working across organizations and interacting with multiple organizations to establish requirements, create test plans, and develop training documents.
- Very strong communication skills required. Must be able to present business needs and functional information to technical and non-technical teams including IT, Finance, Training, and End-Users
- Must be detail oriented with very strong analytical skills and experience analysing complex issues
