ORACLE ERP BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST (SUPPLY CHAIN/MANUFACTURING) - (FUNCTIONAL, ORACLE, PURCHASING, SME, PROCUREMENT, MANUFACTURING, R12, UPK)

Axica Recruitment requires an Oracle ERP Business Systems Analyst (Supply Chain/Manufacturing), to work a 6 month contract with a leading end user in Calgary. The position holder will provide a leadership role in functional practices related to Purchasing and Inventory Management. You will help implement and support business owners in the analysts of the functional aspects of the Oracle Purchasing and Inventory Management application suite.

Responsibilities

- The expectations of this position include design and development of solutions to support the procurement and discrete manufacturing processes and a comprehensive knowledge of the interaction between these applications.
- Map and apply industry leading practices to business's unique requirements and processes.
- Configure the applications to meet business requirements.
- Coordinate multiple testing iterations to confirm business requirements have been met.
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Training and assisting users.
- Providing post-production support.
- Develop solutions to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the worldwide operations and suggest process improvements.
- Gathering user and functional system requirements via workshops, interviews and workflow storyboards, working with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize collected requirements.
- Translating requirement specifications into functional application configurations for enterprise-level systems.
- Assisting company (SME) in creating process models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system developers and project teams.
- Communicating changes, enhancements and modifications to project managers, sponsors and other key stakeholders.
- Onsite coordinator for my client's implementation team, consisting of key business users and (SME).
- Understand Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flex-fields, workflow builder, custom library, profile options etc.) and make recommendations for opportunities.
- Analyzing change requests for existing applications and projects implementing new application functionality.
- Assist users with problems and make recommendations to resolves issues independently.
- Lead user sessions for requirements gathering, planning, implementation and testing and assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, test scripts and the execution of functional testing.
- Create and maintain functional business system documentation.
- Provide business reports to management and clients.

Qualifications

- Four or more years of experience with business analysis and Oracle product implementation
- Required experience in Oracle Purchasing and Discrete Manufacturing including Purchasing, Inventory Management (Item Master, Inventory Organization structure development, Inventory replenishment, Inventory accuracy - physical inventory and cycle counting), Cost Management, Bills of Material/Engineering, Work in Process and iProcurement
- At least 2 Oracle full cycle implementations, including R12
- Experience with Business Flows and/or Oracle Accelerators approach for the Demand to Build process is preferred but not required
- Systems implementation skills include requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, requirements mapping, Oracle applications configuration, testing, training, change management, documentation and applications support.
- Experience working with the integrated structure of a complex software product suite
- Experience working with how current and future state business processes map to the Oracle packaged application being implemented
- Strong skills in solution demonstration lab (SDL) and prototyping techniques
- Experience with Oracle User Productivity Kit would be an asset.
