Aufgabenspektrum:
- Ensure the operation of all Oracle (around 450 on Solaris 10
and RedHat) databases in the Middle European Data Center
- Installation and administration of databases and tools
- Development of standardization and automation of the existing
database infrastructure
- Providing 2nd and 3rd level support and performance tuning of
the application databases
- Definition of tasks for off-shoring
Erforderliche Erfahrungen und Skills:
- Multiple years experience in installation, administration and
operations of Oracle databases (10g, 11g) in an enterprise
environment
- Experience with GridControl, SQL, PL/SQL and Shell
programming
- Structural thinking in products, services and processes
- Flair for organisational aspects
- Experience with off-shoring
Sprachen:
- Good written and oral skills in English is a must, German a Benefit
