Title: EBS Enterprise Architect

POSITION SUMMARY:
The EBS Enterprise Architect participates, in collaboration with the other architects and the client vendor(s), in the development and implementation of the overall enterprise architecture with a special focus on the Oracle E-business Suite technologies. S/he also is a central point of knowledge and responsibility for all functional and technical aspects of EBS. This includes providing advice to project teams using or implementing Oracle eBusiness Suite, policing data and functional designs and participating in cross-functional projects as a design authority.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to the development of the enterprise architecture vision and the transition roadmaps;
- Maintain with other architects the core architecture artifacts across domains (eg, capability maps, application map);
- Define, update and document standards, user interface guidelines and technology used by the solution architectures;
- Relations with the vendor(s):
- Provide guidance to the vendor for the definition of solution architectures (Target
- Review the solution architectures proposed by the vendor against the target/transition Enterprise Architecture;
- Identify any non-compliance and authorize a derogation or adjust the design;
- Issue/approve architecture contracts with the project delivery teams;
- Regularly control the compliance of the solutions being implemented against the architecture contracts.
- Be part of the project teams with business interactions regarding the overall short to long-term IT solution architecture;
- Be responsible of the testing methodology (UAT, SIT, performances, regressions ) and tests results in collaboration with business analysts;
- Be accountable for the quality and performance of the solution architectures when pertaining to EBS;
- Be accountable for solution security and risk management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Expert knowledge of Oracle E-business R12, including:
- Core Financials
- Oracle Projects Costing
- Purchasing and iProcurement
- HR and Payroll
- Workflow
- At least 2 previous implementation experiences with Oracle E-business suite.
- Thorough working knowledge of associated business process flows and how they are supported within the Oracle applications.
- Expert knowledge of the integration architecture and integration points within the applications
- Experience in consulting with business users and experience of systems integration testing.
- Several years of experience in Oracle information system development and database design and management
- Experience dealing with off-shore partners.

DESIRABLE:

- Relevant experience dealing with Oracle On-demand or other similar hosted-system providers
- Exposure to governance processes, general management, budgeting, administrative and financial management
- Work in multi-cultural international organization
- Experience with international/non-profit organizations

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

- In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-business suite (including R12), including Finance, Projects, HR, Workflow and Procurement
- Good knowledge of Discoverer
- Good understanding of Oracle technical processes including software development, environment management, testing and release controls

DESIRABLE:

- Knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Essbase
- Knowledge of OBIEE and BI Apps for HR, Procurement and Finance

EXPERIENCE:

- +5 years Oracle EBS implementation experience
- At least 2 distinct EBS modules full implementations

START: ASAP
Duration: initial 3 months, renewable upon satisfactory performance until end 2013.
