Oracle E-Business Suite SME

Extensive experience in ERP implementations, preferably Oracle: the particular approaches of implementing standard software systems in complex organizations such as NCI Agency, the need to integrate other source systems (such as MS-EPM), migrate data from existing Legacy systems (eg PeopleSoft) and Oracle and deal with scope control and change management;
Experience with communication and document streams (design documents, progress reports delivery schedules, risk evaluations, ) in an ERP implementation project; within the own functional teams (in this case Finance); between the own functional team and the other functional areas (HR, procurement, asset management, project planning); within the project teams internally (PM, Project Exec, Change Board) and externally (the implementer); Familiar with the particular aspects of an ERP implementation within a live environment which is the result of the merger of different business entities, with their own business processes, systems and cultures which are still not fully aligned; Familiar with the complexities of migrating from Legacy systems to a new environment whereby the new environment needs to integrate with existing feeder systems and where historical data and open items need to be migrated from the old into the new system.

Experience in Oracle eBS for the Financial Modules and for Project Accounting; Familiar with Finance in general (general accounting functions such as GL, AP, AR, Inventory and Asset Accounting, Budgeting and Commitment Accounting) and Project and Cost Accounting in particular; Familiar with Finance in a public sector environment, although the accent is more related to the private sector practices;
Familiar with the links of Finance with other functional domains such as HR, procurement, logistics, project planning and management.
