Oracle E-business Application Specialist, MD050, TE020, Rome, Italy

In the context of the Capex program of work, in coordination with the application team leader and under the supervision of the Contractor's coordinator, the contractor will have the following assignment:

- Lead systems analysis design activities and provide expert advice on functional and technical design, application configuration on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to ensure the development of a solution design that meets project objectives, in particular in the areas of IPSAS Compliance, Financial Reporting and the Oracle Subledger Accounting Engine (SLA);
- Ensure Business Process Owners are aware of best practice solutions for IPSAS and other accounting scenarios;
- Coordinate the resolution of design issues at system level and across functional units;
- Evaluate the design, quality, stability and maintainability of proposed modifications
- Provide liaison, where appropriate, between the technical and functional teams and business units to ensure consistency of requirement, design and system solution;
- Develop relevant design documentation to be used for functional requirement validation and system development, and acceptance testing using AIM standards;
- Regularly reports status of the design activities to the Project Manager and other relevant parties. Support the development of and project plans and other relevant ERP documentation;
- Perform other related duties as required.

OUTPUTS:

- Workstream plan defined and agreed with Project Manager and BPO
- Business requirements confirmed as per agreed plan
- Functional design (MD050) and Test Requirements (TE020) delivered as per agreed plan
- Solution accepted by BPO and deployed as per agreed plan
- Provision of regular status reports to project manager on progress of work
