Oracle Developer - Finance - Zürich

ORACLE DEVELOPER

We are currently seeking an experienced Oracle Developer with strong techincal skills in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and UNIX

TASKS INCLUDE:

- Development of technical concepts, responsibility for implementing the required and specified requirements to the projects according to the standard solution delivery processes within the organisation
- Technical specification and implementation of diverse interfaces and ETL processes to and from other systems and within the DWH
- Operations/Solution Integration
- Perform 3rd level support for deployed components
- Acceptance tests in cooperation with Business and hand over to DWH operations and other support teams
- Provide support documentations and checklists according to the system engineering standards

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Several years of proven experience of design and implementation of reporting solutions based on Oracle databases, PL/SQL.
- Excellent and deep knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, UNIX
- Experience in logical and physical Datamodelling
- Very good analytical & design skills
- Good experience with Tools such as: Toad, Power Designer, Contorl-M
- Very good experience in Oracle DB tuning and troubleshooting (DBA skills would be a plus)
- Working under tight timelines and the ability to steer things forward
- Fluency in written and spoken English (mandatory) and German (would be a great advantage)
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- University degree or longer professional experience (5-10 years)
