On behalf of our international client in the finance sector, Swisslinx is looking for a dynamic and motivated IT professional with solid experience as an Oracle developer for a contract position in the Bern area.
It's a 6 month contract (possible extension), ideal start date April 2014.
ORACLE DEVELOPER, ENGLISH (CONTRACT, BERN)
In this challenging contract role, you will be responsible for the development of technical concepts, implementation of required requirements to the projects and technical specification and implementation of interfaces and ETL processes within the company's DWH. Your main tasks will also include performing 3rd level support for deployed components and providing support checklists and documentations according to the system engineering standards.
In order to be considered for this role you are required to have the following skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
- Unix knowledge
- Experience with Toad, Contorl-M, Power Designer
- Oracle database tuning and troubleshooting
- DBA experience nice to have
- Very good analytical and design skills
- Ability to solve problems
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English (German would be an advantage)
