Oracle Developer DBA

Oracle Developer DBA.- Contract Role

My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oracle developer DBA based in Guildford Surrey. You will be working on a number of projects predominately updating existing modules. Ideally you will possess in excess of 5 years experience.

This is a short-term contract running for approximately 2 Months with the possibility of a 2 Month extension. Paying circa £400 per day.

Key Skills required:

* Proven commercial experience of Oracle 10g/11g including

o SQL to an advanced level
o PL/SQL to an advanced level
o Data Analysis
o Data Modelling
o SQL Performance tuning
o Database object design and creation (tables, views, materialised views, indexes etc.)

* Linux and/or Windows scripting
* Knowledge of development tools such as SQLDeveloper or PL/SQL Developer
* Understanding of coding and design standards
* Design, document and implement data interfaces
* Proven commercial experience of developing and deploying code to EnterpriseDB 8.3-9.2 (preferred)
* Knowledge of MDM tools in the marketplace and experience deploying them (preferred)
* Experience upgrading Oracle10g to 11gR2 (preferred)
