Oracle Developer (Cork Contract)

HIBERNIAEVROS are seeking applications for the position of ORACLE DEVELOPER. This is a Day Rate CONTRACT position based on-site with our client in CORK.

EXPERT ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Developing structured and tested code using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL and PL/SQL
- Participating in the delivery of significant enhancements for a key in-house business application
- Troubleshooting, identifying and fixing bugs in this in-house business application using the Oracle toolset
- Developing enhancements for business applications using the Oracle toolset

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 5 years technical experience in PL/SQL and Oracle Forms and Reports
- Good knowledge of Oracle database 11g
- Experience on some Source control system (VSS etc.)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good technical documentation skills
- Business requirements gathering experience
- Expertise in data analysis
- Experience in SQL performance tuning
- Familiar with multiple database concepts, ie RDBMS, OODB, ODS, Warehouse
- Data movement and ETL experience

DESIRABLE:

- Data Warehouse experience a bonus
