Oracle Developer

Our client located in Bern is looking for two orcale developers to join a large scale project that will last for at least 2 years.

Your main tasks will be:

- Analyzing problems (business processes, transactions, data, functions)
- Set the system requirements (functional/qualitative requirements) for freight application of FCA and other applications
- Analyzing the environment (workplace, targeting systems/platforms, cadre)
- Creating models for data, functions and/or objects
- Design (design) for component formation and its interface definition
- Implementing Applications
- Specifying and implementing interfaces
- Creating or selecting the appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development
- Upgrading- and maintenance for the special application in compliance with the technology roadmap of the infrastructure manager
- Develop and propose measures to optimize if necessary
- Maintenance of the relevant environments for development and testing of the development process, including associated tools.
- Creation and à jour keep documentation (such as system documentation, module descriptions, etc.)
- Participation in and cost estimates
- Implementation of functional and technical tests

Requirements

- Practical experience as a DB developer (conception, design, development, implementation and operational support) in the Oracle environment
- Fluently speak one of the official languages German, French or Italian
- Knowledge of English

Practical development experience with ALL the following development tools: Oracle Forms/Reports (including Webforms 11g.), PowerDesigner, TOAD or SQL. Navigator, PVCS
- At least 8 years of practical development experience with Oracle databases, including 5 years with the 11g version
- Development experience with ALL the following programming languages: PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Shell Scripting
