Oracle Developer

My client is a global telecommunications organisation and I am currently looking for 2x Oracle Developers for an initial 6 months contract in Brussels.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- As an Oracle Software Development Engineer you contribute to the design, development and delivery of my client's business managed security services fully in-house developed software infrastructure.
- You will be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated Data Management development team, and work closely together with the quality assurance and operations teams, actually using the software.
- You extend our current software in supporting new security products and security features assisted by a team of product experts.
- You improve and extend the existing software, quickly detect the cause of reported problems and propose appropriate fixes.
- You keep track of the short term planning and provide all necessary deliverables throughout the development cycle.
- You create, execute and document unit testing, necessary to ensure that the software components meet the requirements set up front;
- You apply existing standards for programming, naming, security and performance; and you provide proper code documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- A good working knowledge of English
- work experience: min. 3 years
- Oracle: SQL, PL/SQL
- Data modelling

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Security/Private Key infrastructure
- Big Data or NoSQL databases
- web services: SOAP, WSDL
- BI solutions, reporting
