Oracle Developer (6 months contract)
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Oracle Developer to join a leading Worldwide Organisation on a short term contract assignment for 6 months in Cork.
The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will have the following skills:
*5+ years commercial development and support in Oracle 10g based applications
*Proficient in SQL, PLSQL, stored procedures, UNIX Shell Scripting
*Ability to write performant SQL and PLSQL essential
*Knowledge of Oracle Financials 11i (AR/AP/GL), Crystal Reports, Oracle Forms/Reports 10g, Java, PReS (Document composition language), IBM WebSphere Data Interchange would be an advantage.
*Experience of Tools such as SQL*PLUS, TOAD, SQL*LOADER, Redwood Explorer
*Third level IT or related qualification
*Articulate, confident, self starter
*Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
*Innovative problem solver
Responsibilities:
*Requirements analysis & Application Design
*Providing accurate estimates and timings to project managers
*Delivery of application developments using standard Oracle development methodologies
*Mentoring other developers within a project team
*Ensuring all QA procedures are satisfied in terms of process and documentation
*Bug Fixing and Enhancement Implementation
