Oracle Developer

Yoh has two (2) contract opportunities for ORACLE DEVELOPERS to join our client in Indianapolis, IN.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- PL/SQL development, creation and maintenance of PL/SQL packages, functions and stored procedures
- Debug, troubleshoot and solve complex PL/SQL issues and the ability to reverse-engineer existing code into functional requirements
- PL/SQL tuning and performance
- Experience using source control software (Subversion or PVCS)
- Mentor less experienced development staff
- Create functional requirements and technical designs from business requirements.
- Effectively communicate technical decisions to non-technical staff
- Working closely with JAVA application development team

Job Qualifications:
- Five (5) plus years experience developing in PL/SQL, development from scratch, debugging, performance tuning, etc.
- Strong Windows experience
- Some Linux experience (MySQL a plus)
- Oracle 11g (11.2.2) experience (advanced level)

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in technology highly desired
- MS SQL - a plus
- Oracle Applications framework a plus
- PL/SQL development experience in a Java environment a plus
