Oracle Design & Performance Tuning Consultant

I currently have an excellent opportunity for an Oracle specialist to come on board on a contract basis with myEdinburghbased client. You will provide Oracle design and performance tuning solutions for their internally developed n-tier web application software which uses an Oracle database. You will be responsible for the analysis and redesign of strategic areas of the Oracle software. Therefore, you will be expected to possess extensive experience in performance tuning of complex SQL queries and in tuning Oracle for good performance. Experience of working in a regulated environment would be beneficial but not mandatory. You must have good all round software engineering skills. This role requires excellent technical, task management and team working qualities.
