Projektbeschreibung

For one of our clients, we are looking for an Oracle DBA to work on a contract basis for an initial period of 6 months. The client is based in Zurich.

You would join a global team providing 2nd and 3rd Level Support for Trading and Sales, Corporate, Retail and Private Banking Applications. Your main tasks will be the administration and maintenance of the Oracle 11g databases. You will upgrade and migrate Oracle databases and be involved in the configuration management and backup recovery. In addition to operational responsibilities you will provide various services to our developers as well as to application platforms within the company. This will include troubleshooting, tuning assistance and query optimization assistance.

We are looking for candidates with strong experience in Oracle Database Administration on UNIX and Linux platforms (min. 10 years) and at least 3-5 years production support experience. Ideally we are looking for specialists with previous experience in supporting Oracle, Data Guard and RAC setup. You will have operational experience working with Oracle Releases 11g and working experience with tools and utilities such as RMAN and Grid Control. You will speak fluent English, German is desirable. If you are a team player with a lot of drive, are able to work on multiple tasks and under a lot of pressure - you will be the ideal candidate
