ORACLE DBA - SC CLEARED - GOVERNMENT - 6 MONTHS + - LONDON - £350 - £450 PER DAY

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading IT Support and Consultancy to work on a client project.  The initial term is 6 months working on the client site in London but the role offers excellent opportunity for contract extension.

The ideal candidate:

- Strong experience of Oracle Database 9i, 10g, 11g, RAC, Grid Infrastructure and RHEL 5/6 Administration
- Experience providing technical support to critical databases supporting Major blue chip or Government organisations in a 24 x 7 managed services/data centre environment working with relevant technologies and within an ITIL framework.
- Experience of RAC, Dataguard, ASM, MAA etc, with the ability to define system architecture.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with a wide-ranging knowledge of tools and technologies complementary to Oracle.
- Administration and Project based experience of Oracle Database projects
- Strong Linux/Unix skills
- RDBMS: Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Data warehousing Methodologies: entity relationship modelling
