Oracle DBA, RAC, Contact - Investment Banking- Canary Wharf

An Oracle Development DBA is required by a strong global IT team based within a strong tier 1 investment bank. This is a superb opportunity for an Oracle Development DBA with strong knowledge of performance tuning to join an expanding team to help them in the overload of work which they currently have.

You will be responsible for all technical designs for all the Oracle Development projects and will become a subject matter expert for Exadata. You will be responsible for maintaining all code with the database along with various DBA activities and be the key point of contact for Oracle Performance tuning.

This department is the key to success for the banks finance control function. The reason for the expansion of the team is down to the department working on a business critical project, the project entails incorporating all asset classes within the main function of reporting through Finance IT.

This is a 6 months rolling contract position with market rates.

Essential Skills:

* Oracle 10G/11G
* Exadata knowledge is preferable
* Oracle RAC, OEM, AWR
* Investment banking experience is essential
