Oracle DBA, Performance Tuning, Mission Critical Production Support

ORACLE DBA, PERFORMANCE TUNING, MISSION CRITICAL PRODUCTION SUPPORT - NETHERLANDS, UTRECHT

Technically strong hands on Oracle DBA required to join a talented DBA team working on a really interesting and varied range of work covering the whole life cycle in development/plenty of project work/performance tuning/production DBA activities.

Leading edge database technology. This is a fast growing/Greenfield Oracle Database environment. Business critical system experience and Strong Oracle DBA skills required.

You will be responsible for Installation and upgrades of the Oracle server and application tools, Creating & modifying databases & database objects, Database auditing and security, Performance tuning, Configuration management, Backup & Recovery, Monitoring, Trouble-shooting and resolution. On-call production support.

Technical Expertise:

- Oracle 10/11 DBA Database performance tuning
- Experience of supporting highly available, business critical systems in a financial environment
- Operational database management: Patching, Upgrades, Migrations, Release Management, DB maintenance.
- New project deployments
- Solid understanding and experience of Best Practice Frameworks and Standards
- A very strong technical skill set is required to provide service delivery
- Mission critical production support of Oracle Databases in large IT environments
