Oracle DBA Job - Bank - Zürich, Switzerland

A highly-regarded banking client is searching for an experienced Oracle DBA to work on an initial 4-months contract with high likelihood of extension until the end of this year. You will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and administering the Oracle 11g and 12c database environment for testing, production and development (Oracle DataGuard and RAC). You will also be involved in supporting performance analysis, tuning, security and database creation projects. You will take ownership for performance tuning and troubleshooting large databases that support the bank's core business areas across Switzerland & Western Europe.

You must have professional experience as an Oracle DBA, skills in database optimization and tuning, a solid background in Oracle 11g, and strong experience in supporting Oracle RAC and Dataguard. Fluency in English is mandatory and the right to work in Zürich, Switzerland is required.

The ideal personality profile will be a motivated person, a strong team player, have excellent communication skills, and be passionate about providing database integration solutions.
