Oracle DBA - IT specialist

Blue chip Company seeking Oracle DBA-IT specialist for 6 month contract in Amstelveen.

Extensive description of the required skills:

- Good understanding of Oracle databases, related utilities and tools
- Good understanding of the underlying operating system
- Good knowledge of the physical database design
- Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
- Knowledge of ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines

Work experience needed:

- Min 5 years as senior Oracle Engineer working in an enterprise environment
- Experience of above within a project environment using ITIL and Prince concepts

Must haves:

- IBM Foundational Competencies
- High customer focus whilst ensuring IBMs standards and policies are maintained

Solid business communication skills both written and verbal, English mandatory plus Dutch preferred. ITIL certification required.
