Oracle DBA - English Speaking Contract in Zurich

For a global bank based here in Zurich we are looking for an Oracle DBA to join the team called The Migration Factory. The department will centralize management, scope setting and delivery responsibility for the adoption of the strategic network fabric and Infra Mod platforms, providing industrialized migration services to achieve modernization of the infrastructure at scale.

The Job:

- Managing complex database migrations
- Able to work unsupervised
- Propose, implement systems and support enhancements and process improvements - Constantly improve business value as well as user experience of the applications - Work closely with the project team to identify migration strategies - Majority of PROD related migration work, DRY RUN, DR TEST, LIVE MIGRATION will be happening on Weekends

The Team:

You'll be working in the Migration Factory team with Project Managers and Operations support dedicated to this function. The role aims to support application related databases in scope for the migrations or required to support the migrations.

We are looking for candidates with:

- + 5 years Oracle DBA experience within large corporations
- Oracle RDBMS 10g - 11g, 12c
- Oracle Dataguard
- Oracle RMAN
- Oracle RAC
- Oracle OEM
