SUMMARY:
We are looking for an ORACLE DBA with good Linux experience.
You will strengthen the DataCenter move project team by assisting in the migration of Oracle Servers & databases to a new platform based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Your tasks will mainly consist of:
- Migrate existing Oracle databases to a new platform in a remote datacenter
- Ensure High-Availability and DR capabilities
- Reviewing and updating current database maintenance & backup plans
- Assist in design and implementing an overall Alerting and Monitoring Strategy for database environments
- Providing Technical Coaching to our internal staff
- Write and Document new procedures for future knowledge transfer
PROFILE
You have in-depth knowledge of:
- Oracle Databases 10.x +
- Oracle DataGuard
- Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Linux RedHat (or other RPM-based flavors)
- (Oracle) Security hardening & patching
- Knowledge of MySQL Server and/or Ansible is a plus.
- You are fluent in Dutch or English.
