One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for an Oracle DBA.

Role:
The work activities deal with resolving incidents, testing new functionality, data base management (including backup, restore, roll back), applying changes to the system, installing Oracle upgrades.
The candidate is member of a team located in Amsterdam.
The aim is to continuously learn from experiences and improving stability of the environments.
Part of the work will be to improve the speed in refreshing data in test environments from other test environments. 

Required skills:

- DBA Oracle
- Knowledge of Oracle 10gR2, 11g and 12c
- RAC 11g
- ASM 11g/12c
- DataGuard (Physical- and Logical standby databases)
- Knowledge of SQL (PL/SQL)
- Knowledge of AWR-reports
- Knowledge of performance tuning
- RMAN backup/restore and smart cloning of databases
- Knowledge of Cloud Control
- Knowledge of Linux and AIX
- unix-Scripting
- team player
- flexible

Requirements:

The werkbedrijf team is responsible for the support of all applications dealing with the process of finding jobs (matching requests from werkgevers with available werkzoekenden). The goal of the project is amongst other to supply a very highly available "werk.nl" system which is used by half a million "werkzoekenden" in the Netherlands. On top of the Website which is built on Oracle products, the project supports the Back Office applications interacting with the web application.
