Oracle DBA Administrator

One of our prestigious clients is looking for a medior Oracle Database Administrator for a 6 month contract role based at our client's offices in Brussels, Belgium.

Requirements

Mandatory:
oBachelor Degree in Computer Science or relevant subject
o4 years' experience in SQL, Oracle Database 9i release 2 or higher
o3 years' experience in Backup and Recovery, Windows Scripting, Windows 2000 Server or higher
o2 years' experience with Alerting and Monitoring
o2 years' experience with High-availability solutions: stand-by DB's and/or clustering (oracle RAC and/or Oracle Failsafe)
o2 years' experience with Oracle DB Security hardening

Preferred:
o2 years experience with Unix Scripting
o2 years experience with Centralised Backup Software (eg Legato, Veritas) installation, configuration and execution
oUnix in general, Solaris 8 or higher
oOracle Entreprise Manager tools and RMAN
oTOAD (min. V8.x), Oracle 10g Application Server
oWeb Server software (Apache, IIS, ...)

Languages:
oVery good English and good French or vice versa

Start date: 1/10/2015
End date: 3/2016 (120 days to perform)
