CONTRACT ROLE

Experis IT Switzerland is urgently looking for an Oracle DBA to join one of their clients in Bern, a well-known organization with a fantastic brand! For this role we are looking for a candidate ideally with experience in a similar role to start ASAP who can speak fluent English and German.

Duration: 6 MONTHS + CONTRACT

PROJECT TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT:

- Oracle DB (10g, 11g, 12c) primarily on Linux and few on Windows
- Microsoft SQL (2008, 2012, 2014)

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Experience with database migrations and upgrades
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, Golden Gate
- Experience with Windows Clustering, Log Shipping, SQL Always On
- Experience with Database schema creation and management
- Experience with Database backup and recovery
- You will ensure data integrity and availability
- Experience with Performance management, tuning, tracking
- Experience with Capacity planning and reporting
- Experience with Database management, monitoring and maintenance
- Experience with Database licensing and security
- Experience with Database health, integrity and space.
- Oracle DBA and (MS) SQL certifications preferred
- YOU ARE FLUENT IN GERMAN
- YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD LEVEL OF ENGLISH
- YOU HAVE 6 YEARS PLUS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE
