Oracle | DBA | Database Administrator | 10g | PL/SQL
NV are looking for a strong Oracle DBA for a 12 month role in Zurich.
Candidate Skills/Qualities:
1) ITIL & Oracle Certified Database Administrator is required.
2) Extensive experience in installing, configuring and tuning Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g.
3) 5+ years experience Oracle DBA, preferably with experience of configuring and tuning.
4) Ability to perform PL/SQL coding including areas of functionality and performance.
5) Exp of supporting various databases in a large env or within a financial/investment env.
6) Experience with Oracle, Sybase IQ, MS SQL Server administration.
7) At least 5 years exp working as a DBA in a large env.
8) Experience in proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of Database Systems.
9) An understanding of incident management within IT infrastructure organization.
10) A positive attitude, excellent customer-facing skills and a pleasant telephone manner.
11) Must possess strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills.
12) Experience in Incident management, Release management, Change management, Problem management as per ITIL framework
13) Unix admin exposure will be helpful
14) Should be ready to provide support after business hours on weekdays and weekends on need basis

Rate: Approx €400-440 a day
