Oracle DBA

ORACLE DBA - CONTRACT

- Oracle DBA who has current and valid certifications.
- The person must have an Oracle certified Professional (11g or 12c).
- The candidate must have a high level of DBA skills acquired over a period of at least 3 years (or more).
- The person has to show evidence of experience of working within a Complex environment at enterprise level.
- The person's role and tasks will be to oversee the (for Production/Live) Oracle database(s).
- The person will be working to support and maintain multiple databases with bespoke applications.

Must have:

- Minimum of 3 years DBA experience
- Achieved a competency of 'very good' or 'expert' in all the following competencies listed below
- Current valid certification as an Oracle Certified Professional (11g or 12c)
- Management of an Oracle (10g, 11g or 12c) RAC environment
- Management of GIS data and context searching in Oracle 10g, 11g or 12c
- Management of a large Oracle RDBMS database (that is in excess of 4 Terabytes)
- Management of Oracle 10g/11g/12c RDBMS in a UNIX/Linux n-tier environment
- Management of Oracle RDBMS in an environment where bespoke applications have been coded in Java and deployed to Oracle iAs and Oracle WebLogic
- Management of an Oracle database environment that is shared between multiple bespoke applications.
