Oracle DBA/Support - Contract role, Dublin
Our client, a leading global IT company, is seeking experienced candidates for a DBA/Support role.
You will fulfil the role of technical lead and act as the customer interface to the technical team and act as the first point of escalation for deliver issues.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
Contribute and develop the Oracle expertise of the team
Execute overall database architecture strategy
Create and follow data standards and change management process
Develop data models for business processes
Work with developers to ensure adherence to Oracle coding standards
Process and technical documentation
24/7 oncall support
The ideal candidate will have:
Oracle certification
Proven experience providing technical support
Programming experience with stored procedures and triggers
Proficiency in data replication
Customer oriented outlook
Oracle 10g and 11g experience
Strong mentoring skills
It is highly advantageous to have the following:
SAP Basis experience
Experience with ABAP and Java stacks
SQL Server 2005/2008
