Oracle DBA

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role is involved in all technical recommendations and decisions in relation to data integration planning, development and technology recommendations while interacting with development teams, enterprise architects, and testing teams working across all SOA/BPM projects. This role provides technical analysis, evaluation and guidance to the individual project teams on modelling the data/integrating the OLTP databases with data warehouse. This role interfaces well with all parts of the organization and works excellently with OBPM developers, testers, ETL(Extract Transform Load) developers, BI Architects and BOXI(Business Objects) Developers. provides project coaching in resolving technical issues related to the database and data integration.

SPECIFIC TASKS TO BE PERFORMED DURING THE ENGAGEMENT/KEY DELIVERABLES/MILESTONES:
This role, outside of the standard activities, skills, roles and responsibilities of a data architect, extends to:
Selecting the technology to ensure performance of the OLTP database when integrating with the data warehouse.
Implementing oracle streams and oracle messaging gateway on every BPM project database that needs BI reporting
Coordinating with BPM team on the design changes to implement the new business requirements needing the BI reports
Acting as a liaison between BPM project team and BI team.
Thorough reviews of the BPM releases to understand the impact of change in data/structure that affects data integration setup with warehouse.
Meticulous attention to detail.

MODULE/TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Oracle BPM, Oracle Database, IBM Web Sphere MQ, BPMN2.0 as well as good knowledge about SOA

WHAT DEVELOPMENT TOOLS METHODOLOGIES ARE TO BE USED?
Oracle Streams, Oracle Messaging gateway(OMG),Oracle SQL developer(Or any other leading SQL editors),Oracle SQL Data Modeler(Or any other leading data modelers),Oracle 11gR1 database administration, BPMN2.0

2. Thorough experience in Oracle Database administration and performance management(10g/11g), Oracle Streams, Oracle Messaging gateway
3. Thorough experience in IBM MQ
4. Project life cycle
5. Experience in SOA/BPM
6. Knowledge of OBPM & OSB
