ORACLE DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER

Ecommerce giant are in need of an experienced Datawarehouse Developer to join a Global team. You will be based in the London head office, in the heart of the West End. Datawarehouse Developers from a Media, Ecommerce, Marketing or sportsbetting background would be ideal for this vacancy. DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER REQUIRED:

The successful candidate must have extensive experience of the following:

- Database and Datawarehouse development using SQL
- Datawarehouse modelling especially Ralph Kimball's Data Warehousing methodology
- Client facing experience working with customers to understand and document requirements
- Communicating complex technical issues clearly
- Capable of challenging data/processes to meet the business requirements
- Developing innovative or effective approaches to solving business problems
- ETL process knowledge (toolsets and methodologies)
- Knowledge of analytical SQL
- Working in small teams and following IT service management procedures (eg ITIL)
- VLDB (100 million row plus) exposure and experience
- Translating requirements into high-level database design
- Must be comfortable manipulating data
- Being able to mentor others to ensure data related knowledge transfer and quality of deliverables
- Being able to QA others work, and test solutions
- Being able to resolve data issues that occur on inbound data
- Being an authority on our data toolsets and methodologies and influencing projects in their use

In addition, the individual:
