For a client in The Hague I search an Oracle Database Specialist for 40 hours per week.

the function
As a database administrator, there is an interesting and nice job for you. In 2015 a number of challenging projects undertaken within the Oracle domain, which we experienced an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Search employee with technical project management skills

The projects are:
- Oracle migration 11.X. to 12.x databases;
- Oracle decor
- Strengthening the current LCM architecture for Oracle databases.

As project DBA you are also responsible for the following fields:
- You're part of the DBA team;
- You ask technical plans for the above projects in accordance with the Prince II methodology;
- You are responsible for the technical coordination with adjacent plots, such as the application and platform infrastructure;
- The main task, the projects, but also rotates in the daily operational maintenance work;
- The performance of databases and reporting on this;
- Projects responsible for the design, configuration and implementation of new databases.

In the communication service you contact:
- ICT staff to optimize the operation of the databases and applications;
- Project management with regard to start-up and progress of project-related activities DBA
- IT management: you advises on the requirements and changes relating to the network, the computer configuration, license usage, hardware capacity and application software. All this with the focus on optimal performance of the database.

the profile
Job requirements
To qualify for this challenging role you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- You have a Bachelor degree;
- You have 3 to 6 years of experience in Oracle database technology;
- You have 3 to 6 years of experience as a DBA in complex environments;
- You have 3 to 6 years of experience with Oracle Financials 11 and 12;
- You have 3 to 6 years of experience with the Oracle E-business suite;
- You are preferably (pre) in possession of an Oracle database OCA certificate;
- You have knowledge of the Oracle Enterprise Manager and RMAN
- You have experience with the Oracle E-business suite;
- You have knowledge of MS Windows and Linux Operating Systems;
- You are familiar with Prince II and ITIL;
- You recognize yourself in the following features: results oriented, takes responsibility flexible, communicative and result-oriented;
- You understand Dutch, excellent verbal and written.
