Oracle Database Engineer

For my client based in Zürich city we are looking for a Database Engineer with DWH modelling exp.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Zürich

Scope of work:

- Oracle Database and Datamart designing and developing
- Writing of implementation SQL scripts
- Analyzing customer and technical requirements to build Oracle Datamarts, both physically and logically (views)
- Analyzing and preparing needed data sourcing and ETL processes
- Collaborating with requirement engineers to find optimal Database and Datamart design
- Supporting application developers by providing needed data and description

Skills:

Must have:
- Command of conceptual Database and DWH Modeling
- Strong overall Oracle Database engineering and administration experience
- Experience in complex SQL PI/SQL and Performance Optimization
- Experience how to communicate and support application developers
- Ability to be able to work concurrently on a number of different topics and to be able to change focus quickly as needed
- More than 5 years working experiences in the subject matter

Good to have:
- Experiences with Datamarts and especially multi-dimensional Data bases is a great benefit
- Banking or Financial Industry sills and experiences with Credit-Suisse are an advantage
