Oracle Database Developer with PL/SQL and JAVA knowledge (1409)

For our client in Zurich we are looking for an

Oracle Database Developer with PL/SQL and JAVA knowledge (1409)

As Solution Engineer you are independently building and implementing moderately complex components in the DB with PLSQL and eventually in the TLS Middle Tier in JAVA.

MAIN TASKS:

- Contribute to technical analysis, design and implementation of moderately complex components,
- Help analyze requirements.
- Write and review technical specifications
- Conduct unit, system, performance and integration testing.
- Contribute to technical standards and procedures.
- Document moderately complex components and interactions between them independently.

SKILLS:

- University degree or similar educational background

Operating Systems: Windows, Solaris, Linux - Database: Oracle - at least 6 years experience in Oracle database development with PL/SQL
- Good knowledge of Oracle 10g, Oracle ETL tools and Oracle performance tuning tools/utilities
- Know-How in developing Shell Scripts on Unix (Solaris)
- Experience in Java development (JSF, Spring, JUnit) and Object Oriented features of PL/SQL is a plus
- Good Financial Products background (Derivatives)
- Dynamic and proactive personality

MUST HAVES:

- Oracle-/PLSQL-/Java-Combo would be perfect (Oracle is key)
- Financial background prefererd (FX/Derivatives usw.)
- Focus on Development, but also Support (in turns)
- English (German is a plus)
