Oracle Database Developer/Pharma
For our client, one of the biggest global pharmaceutical players in Switzerland, we are currently looking for an ORACLE DATABASE DEVELOPER with ideally previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector. This is a contract in Basel starting ASAP till the end of December 2015 with an option to extend.
In this position the ORACLE DB DEVELOPER will be responsible for developing and implementing database performance monitoring process and analysing monitoring data for performance optimization opportunities.
The role includes managing and supporting on-site backup and recovery processes as well as providing troubleshooting in PL/SQL codes, Shell Scripts to support database applications.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
- Very skilled in Oracle DBA
- Good experience with following technologies:
Oracle Enterprise Server 10.2, 11.1, 11.2
Oracle Enterprise Manager
DB Security (Enterprise User Security, Auditing)
SQL and PL/SQL languages knowledge
UNIX and Linux operating systems (Shell Scripting experience a plus)
- Experience working in a global and fast-paced environment, ideally in the pharmaceuticals
- Very good communications skills in English
- Immediate availability
