Oracle Database Administrator & Unix Admin

- MUST HAVE 5+ years working experience as Oracle DBA on HPUX, Sun Solaris platforms in a reputed telecom company.
- Oracle Database 10g/11g Administration 
- Oracle Application Server 10g 
- Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Streams.
- Oracle RAC 
- Backup & Restore using RMAN 
- Unix knowledge to speed up DBA tasks 
- Basic Unix Shell Scripting 
- Performance tuning 
- Good Problem solving skills 
- Able to work in projects as in supporting role 
- Able to work in Team in challenging environment 
- Oracle software Installation & configuration 
- First line support with necessary expertise to resolve issues escalated from first line diagnostics 
- Provide guidance and implementation for software delivery and upgrades 
- Provide technical reports to identify cause of problems, and give preventive guidance to avoid same problem happen again 
- Escalate the trouble ticket to Second Line in case it requires, and monitor it until solved 
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (IT)/Computer Science/or related fields. 
- Preferable to familiar with all Unix flavors 
- Contains required certifications OCP etc. 
- Good knowledge in other databases like MySQL, SQL, DB2 and etc. 
- Good knowledge of Shell Scripting. 
- Excellent Troubleshooting skills. 
- High level application knowledge is must eg CRM, Billing, Provisioning, etc.
