Oracle Database Administrator (f/m) Financial Area Luxembourg

We are looking for our client, an international financial institution located in Luxembourg, for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:

ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (F/M)

Technical skills in one or more of the following domains:
-        5 years experience in Oracle RDBMS administration on Unix systems
-        Experience in database support in mission critical environments with appropriate certification
-        Good skills in database tuning
-        Oracle 11g, 12c, MySQL, RMAN, EM Grid Control, PL/SQL
-        Strong Unix/Linux Shell Scripting skills

Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage:
-        Oracle Dataguard, Oracle RAC, ASM, PHP, Indepth, EMC TimeFinder, Veritas Cluster, NetBackup and Volume Manager.

The following inter-personal skills are essential:
-        Good communication and analytical skills
-        Fluent in both written and spoken English, knowledge of French will ease the communication.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
-        Administration of Oracle & MySQL databases in testing and development environments.
-        Database monitoring and tuning.
-        Maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
-        Technical and Functional support of internal and external users of this infrastructure.
