Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional Required
12 Month Contract
Dublin
The Role
The successful contractor will:
Maintain existing systems, and rapidly develop solutions to problems as required
Liaise with other technical authorities in the Department to provide an integrated approach to the Department's technologies
Analyse and develop new information systems
Be able to work in all aspects of a project life cycle from Business Analysis to implementation and testing
Report to management/staff, including the ISD Team Lead as required
Be capable of working on her/his own initiative
Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience of working in the Public Sector is beneficial.
Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional
Minimum of 5 years' experience in - Oracle database design
Geospatial database design
Minimum of 5 years' experience in spatial application development using SQL spatial libraries and ESRI's desktop and server products
Minimum of 4 years' experience as Oracle Database Administrator
Minimum of 4 years development experience with Oracle's PL/SQL
Minimum of 3 years' experience with the following
" Adobe (Apache) Flex
" Actionscript 3 programming
" ESRI API for Flex
" JavaScript
" Oracle Spatial or Locator
