On behalf of our client, a world-leading financial institution based in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced
ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
In order to be considered for this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Min. 3 years of experience with Unix/Linux and Oracle 11g
- Min. 3 years of production support experience
- Experience in supporting Oracle RAC and Data guard setup
- Usage and understanding of Grid Control/DB Monitoring
- Usage of RAM ( Restore/Backup)
- Skills and experience in DB Tuning/Optimization
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationship
- Good communication skills Fluent written and spoken English, German is advantageous
In your role as an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for Test programs or databases, you will correct errors and make necessary modifications. You will modify existing databases and database management systems and work as a part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. In addition, you will write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system, as well as review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
