Oracle Database Administrator

Oracle Database Administrator wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Degree in IT, computer science or related subject
- Background in database administration within the financial industry along with several years of working experience in Oracle database administration
- Solid professional experience in working with Oracle RDBMS 10g, 11g and 12c utilities and RMAN
- Strong knowledge in supporting Oracle RAC, Data guard and OEM
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Supporting the migration factory team to provide database integration solutions for IT projects
- Implementing infrastructure driven application migrations from company's Legacy offerings
- Managing complex database migrations for key projects in the bank
- Working directly with the project team to identify migration strategies
- Analyzing risks and issues and managing small project plans, supporting the migration weekends
- Providing DB infrastructure solutions beside being responsible for the DBA requests
