Oracle Database Administrator

RED's key client, a global organisation based in Basel are currently looking for an Oracle Database Administrator. The initial contract will be 6-months, plus likely extensions.

Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.

ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

PROJECT OVERVIEW

- Install, configure and troubleshoot Oracle
- Configure, administer and troubleshoot Oracle Data guard for disaster recovery.
- Use Oracle Cloud Control for troubleshooting database performance issues.
- Provide support of production databases.
- Upgrade databases
- Assist users with problem resolution and answer database usage questions.
- Proactively monitor database health and resource consumption.
- Keep current with latest Oracle technologies, and evaluate new technologies as needed.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

- 5+ Years Experience within Oracle Database Administration
- Experience with Different Databases
- Hands on SL-SQL experience
- Fluent English
- Preferably local to Basel
