Oracle COBOL Team Manager/ Team Leader Project Managers/ Development Managers Banking * Opportunity type- permanent * Client- retail bank * Location- London or Manchester dependant on your preference * Salary- up to £60,000 dependent on experience and location * Technical- Oracle and COBOL * Title: Team Manager/ Team Leader Project Managers/ Development Managers I have multiple opportunities for strong technical managers to lead onshore and offshore Oracle and COBOL developers and project manage all change programmes within my retail banking client. Due to growth on several fronts, there are opportunities available in both Manchester and London. As the Team Manager/ Team Leader Project Managers/ Development Manager, you will be the lead technical SME to co=ordinate all support, development and change projects, and support the business through all technical change You will need to bring your leadership skills and experience of managing complex technical delivery before with the mentoring, coaching and developing of your offshore resources being a key element of this role. You will also need to bring your technical background in Oracle and COBOL as while you will not be technically hands on, you will functional and technical understanding of the projects you are coordinating, as well as the developers you are leading on the programmes. This is a rather unusual role giving you the opportunity to retain some technical prowess, while making on more of a leadership/ management based role. Requirements * Strong technical background in Oracle, COBOL, SQL and ideally teradata * Experience of leading off shore teams * Strong project and people coordination skills * Excellent stakeholder management skills * Banking/ finance background is preferable but not essential I am short listing this week, with interviews next week so please do come back to me ASAP Kind Regards
